The trailer mounted RBS TRITON™ oil skimming system includes all the tools required to rapidly respond to an oil spill:
- RBS TRITON™ skimmer head (U.S. Patent 7,303,688) capable of recovering virtually any viscosity of oil, up to 98% recovery efficiency (oil to water ratio)
- Interchangeable brush, drum or disc recovery modules (no tools required)
- Self-contained trailer system with integrated crane designed for ease of transport and deployment
- Diesel/Hydraulic power pack operates all functions of RBS TRITON™ skimmer head, hose reel and crane
- Hose storage reel facilitates safety and speed of deployment
- Portable oil storage tanks for the recovered oil from the skimmer head
- DNV and ABS Marine Services witnessed tests complying to ASTM Standards
