ROPE MOP SKIMMERS

Rope Mop Skimmers are suitable for recovering oil from the surface of water in remote relatively inaccessible areas. They are particulary useful in open water wave conditions or where a high quantity of debris is present. They can be operated in ditches, ponds, lagoons, canals, pits and separators.

Oil adheres to the oleophilic ropes as they pass through oil on the surface of the water. Squeeze rollers in the skimmer head remove the oil from the ropes as they pass through the head.

Our range of Rope Mop skimmers comprises -

Rope Mop 90 - our largest capacity model designed for for the recovery of heavy and medium viscosity oils. A crane suspends the skimmer head over the surface of the water. Since the skimmer head doesn't touch the water it is ideal for use in rougher water conditions.

Rope Mop 40 - a lightweight, barrel mounted model for use in a horizontal operation.
